Alhamdullilah, this post might be late in its updating but then again - Better late than never...R10 Hockey mailto:Team@%20Keramat Tigers were crowned Champions of the U12 Hockey Boys beating the opponent Bandar Tun Razak 1-0 on the 30.4.2010.
The sun stricken final was played in Stadium Tun Abdul Razak, 11.30am which saw the boys playing their heart out even under the blazing sun. We invited 4 players from Wangsa Jaya who played in different position alternating with R10 players to dominate the final game.
Playing a draw 0-0 in the first half, attack after attack the Keramat Tigers boys performed -- only after nearly 10 minutes into the 2nd half - coming from the left Haziq (Capt) pushed the ball into the front of the goal keeper and after miskicked by the goalie and scrambled by definitely about 3 players, the ball was bounced by Acap and went into the goal.
Umpire Raja Rosdi blowed showing the goal sign pointing his hand to the center of the turf, screams of joy from parents of the Keramat Tiger which were from R10 and Wangsa Jaya could be heard bouncing of the walls of the stadium.
BTR fought back missing couple of open chances, but I guess Allah wanted this year championship to be ours and when the final whistle blowed; the boys were overjoyed but too tired to celebrate showing sign of pain and exhaustion in their faces.
Teachers, Parents, Coaches and Good Friends who came and watched the game jumped in joy and happiness because after nearly 5 years of hockey history, this is the first time WE WON.
Praise to Allah for his blessing and giving - we have gone through too many battles of pain before achiving this.
Thank you to all the teachers, parents, friend and MOSTLY TO ALL MY PLAYERS WHO DID A WONDERFUL AND NO MERCILESS JOB IN SECURING 2010 U12 BOYS HOCKEY KL CHAMPIONSHIP.......ALL OF YOU ARE THE BEST....
